Bed & Breakfast?

I have been working in the hotel industry for 10 years & just recently stayed at a bed & breakfast. It was very charming, warm & inviting. I've decided that this is the career path that I'd rather pursue. I know that with hotels they're usually owned by big names and you apply for them, but how would I get a foot in the bed & breakfast business? Most are family owned. At this point I'd be willing to "intern" a couple of days a week just to get the experience on my resume.

The hotel manager your own it is to work at one bed and friendly most are privately owned.
My girlfriend at one or start with but you can sell and wife of the hotel manager.
