Does anyone know what this breakfast dish is called?

Bed and Breakfasts
allison asked:

I had it at a bed and breakfast. It was a thin, light, puffy egg dish. It tasted like it had egg, milk, sugar, flour, and baking soda perhaps? It also was served with a brown sugar syrup. I would love to know what this dish was, if anyone could help!
