Has anyone stayed in a hostel or bed and breakfast in Chicago? Are they safe, clean, etc?
angry little goth girl asked:
Has anyone stayed somewhere aside from hotels in Chicago? Could you suggest an inn, bed and breakfast, or hostel on the cheap? I'm mainly concerned about having a safe place to park and a clean room. A place with a shared bathroom just wouldn't do! Something close to public transportation would be good too.
If anyone could suggest a clean, safe, cheap motel that would be great, too.
Has anyone stayed at the Lakeview Motel?

For nonmeter parking and remember it was pretty much anywhere in lakeview but just look for nonmeter parking and lot of the stores near the stores near the lincoln park inn once they had some marathon yeah who knows so hopefully that isnt when you plan.
There are 3 inns owned by City Inns. I have stayed at two of them — The Willows Hotel (on Surf near Broadway and Diversey) and City Suites Hotel (on Belmont right by the El). These are both nice and less expensive than your typical hotel. Both in the Lakeview neighborhood.
