My boyfriend and I HAVE GOT to get away from the City (we live in Chicago). We'd like to get away for the 4th of July, neither of us have really ventured into Illinois much so we don't know what tourists might like to see and where to stay. Basically, we'd like a place that is quiet, away from cars, shopping malls, and bars. We don't want to do anything in particular, just sleep in, maybe go out to eat or do some grilling somewhere in a park, and that's it. Thing is, we have no idea where we should stay. We're both 29, so no wine tasting for us and no kid's stuff. Just a relaxing time. Any suggestions? He says to look it up on the internet, what am I supposed to look up if I have no idea what to look up! Any help is much appreciated!
