Regarding where in upstate, I am completely open, in nyc and dont know too much outside that. I am also up for suggestion in other states which are close by

yeah upstate ny is f-ing huge. do you mean the hudson valley, finger lakes, way up near potsdam, buffalo area, jamestown, the catskills, near binghampton, niagra?
